Pizza Tower scoring system in Doom mod
This mod adds the scoring, combo and ranking system from Pizza Tower into Doom.
Defeating enemies will start a combo. Collecting items and defeating more enemies or finding secrets while on a combo will refill the timer by how important they are:
-Items required for totals = 2 seconds of combo refill.
-Defeating an enemy or finding a secret = full 7 seconds of combo refill.
You are also scored by this:
-Items = 10 points
-Enemies = 100 points + combo bonus
-Secrets = 150 points
Ranks increase by how many items collected and enemies defeated. There are additional rules for the last two ranks:
-You can only get an S rank if all secrets are found.
-You can only get a P rank if you complete the level start to finish in a single combo.
The totals screen has not been altered because I don't know how. I would like to add score and rank to it later.
This mod has been tested on GZDoom 4.10.0 only. If you run it on another source port you may run into issues.
