Pilotable Strider Mod is a HL2:Deathmatch modification that allows you to play a deathmatch with a pilotable strider, a helicopter, or an APC. Also included a Sniper rifle!!.
You can control the Strider like the HL2 Vehicles, but also you can use the machine gun, Anti-matter cannon and leg attack.
You can control a helicopter too, using his machine gun and the bombs.
And also a combine APC, with his machine gun and his Missiles.

The SM Team are working now in a new version of the Strider Mod 0.2.75 (the single player version) called Strider Mod SX, using the source SDK base and porting the Strider Mod entity from Strider Mod 0.3.51.
We will post soon new screenshots from the new Strider Mod SX. We're targeting the following features:
- Single Player experience.
- Pilotable Dog
- New entity called qua_pilotable(where you can script your own pilotable using LUA, like a headcrab. Click here for more info):
- Works from Source SDK base code. (You need only HL2 to play it).

righto.... anyway, when are there gonna be some ant Lguards? like seriously, if one of the mappers read this im saying...
MAKE AN UNDERGROND STAGe, one or 2 floors, and make it big enuf for 1 ant lion guard!, then u can hav like 7 ppl with weapons n crap, versing 1 player thats hogging the ant lion guard, whilest he summons ant lions to defend him and owns the players with his

Whoops turns out I secoritly had another steam folder which was what I was looking in heh, thankfully I deleated it and freed up abunch of space.
i dont know.... when u install HL2 and CS:S u usually get "sourcemods" after u go into 'steamapps' then ->'email' there is 'sourcemods' there and the usual game folder showing u all valve games u got.....
i hav no clue how to help u into gettin it up... all the assistance i can giv u IS: goto wher the sourcemods is spose to be as i said up top, make new folder and name it sourcemods.. then place all ur mods like this in there, and see what happens!.
if this doesnt work, reinstall HL2 or get propper help?.
The mod looks good but I can't install it-I don't have a sorcemods folder to put this mod in and have no idea where to put this folder
guys... if u dont get this mod i hope u choke on mc donalds fries!!!, i mean... this mod is DA ****!!!, i first became a fan of this mod from browsing the all powerful HL2files.com, after waiting for ages, it came to 2.75 where u can use many vehichles... rite now i cant use my computer with HL2 so i wont be getting this for maybe a few hrs to 1 more day, in the single player version u can play MANY vehichles.. tho normal HL2 SP is way too easy for this cuz u know... strider n stuff r tough as!, so i playd it with custom maps ppl made, and it came wit a few test maps for strider mod...
i havnt playd multi player soo im not too sure, but in single player u can pilot; STRIDeR, HUNTER HELICOPTeR, ANT LION GUARD(can summon ant lions,leet!), APC... has machine gun and rockets!!!
err.. the combine assault air thing, that looks like a flying bug... but its not! err there might be 1 more but i cant really think now... GUYS IF YOUS DONT GET THIS MOD AND DONT HIRE SERVERS FOR IT I WILL KILL U ALL... so play the game so i only kill u in HL2 Pilotable Striders!!! :D:D:D
