Perfected Doom 3 was started as a simple tweak mod years ago. After realizing that I was still not happy with Doom 3 after making some alterations to weapons and enemy stats I continued to add more to the game. Now Perfected Doom 3 is more then just a tweak mod. It attempts to completely overhaul the entire game with new monsters, rebalanced weapons, rebalanced monster stats, better graphics, new gameplay features and much more. It has been met with great appreciation and acclaim by it's users. This mod will bring many improvements to standard Doom 3 and it's Resurrection of Evil expansion.
Dual Double Barrel Shotguns added by doomtrinity. You can use one or two at the same time just like the pistols. And the single Double Barrel can fire one or two barrels at a time using the primary or secondary fire modes.
Just in case you need to shoot it 4 times in the face all at once.

Uh??? That sounds overpowered.
Dual SSG has draw backs. More frequent reloading due to low clip size but at the same time immense firepower when needed. Dual Pumpshotguns would have way too many rounds per clip and dual barrel auto shotgun would remove the need for the SSG. This was done with balance in mind. Its the best way to go to keep all guns useful.

No you can shoot them individually. And they can be individually reloaded too.
