Perfect Dark ... This game had an incredible success, but you already know that. This game would deserve one minute of silence, in order to let us remember all the good moments spent in its company. We're trying to recreate all what we loved with using all the power we need provided by the Source Engine. We all dream to make revive this game, with physics and graphics up to date, with keyboard and mouse, with all the weapons and game mod we loved. An incrediblibly old-school gameplay meeting the next-generation requierements! Questions?

Howdy,
First and foremost, Happy New Year 2009 (although you should agree that we are a bit late)
Second, we have to apology for this long time without news and with the website gone. We had some server issues that managed to kill all the data we had, the old website, and the whole forum. 
But we've managed to create a new website and forum. 
The site, based on Joomla, is bridged to a phpBB3 forum thanks to jFusion.
This new system will help us do the managing and admin tasks better (and will also help us with the language translations).
We also created a custom page on dailymotion in order to upload our official videos :Dailymotion.com, and we've also managed to integrate them into our website.
Even if we lost the forum database, we did not lose the mod. 
We announce with pleasure that we will soon release a new version of the mod.
This updated version will mostly have some freezing problems fixed (the ones you may have encountered when connecting to some servers or the hangup at the 17th minute of gameplay) and will also have a few gamerules modified.
Again we have to apologize for losing all of your posts.
We ask you to give life back to the forum to give us enough strength the strength to finish this new beta.

I think its wrong of valve to make the source engine so that modders have to adjust to the constant changes all the time. It should be possible to have one mod use an older version of the SDK than the other, because as it is, mods will have to be rewritten all the time to make updated installers for every SDK change. Or am I mistaken here?
Its a hell of a frustrating thing to keep rewriting when you are long done and almost satisfied with the mod you have made. I'm sorry you guys gotta go through this - more so as you will have to be doin it more often inthe future whenever Valve decides its time for a facelift.

I have faith in this mod, it will be reeeeeally good. but y'know, 100% says far too much than what we are receiving... that being nothing but pretty pictures :)
Perfect Dark was on of the first FPSs i even played. When i first heard about this mod i was worried it would tunr out like so many other failed projects. But after seeing the screen shots and movies i think it's safe to say this will be a great tribut to a great game.
Your attntion to detail is just amazing. I can't wait to walk around the old complex again =)

Because it is not a Walther P99 but a customised Sig Sauer P228 that we did.
should i delete "Perfect Dark²" from my mods list? cause i have this game twice, and dont know which one to keep
