Perfect Dark ... This game had an incredible success, but you already know that. This game would deserve one minute of silence, in order to let us remember all the good moments spent in its company. We're trying to recreate all what we loved with using all the power we need provided by the Source Engine. We all dream to make revive this game, with physics and graphics up to date, with keyboard and mouse, with all the weapons and game mod we loved. An incrediblibly old-school gameplay meeting the next-generation requierements! Questions?

Hello all. You players know we have been having problems with the latest Patch. Now it is solved! you can join the servers with the latest version (1.730) of the public beta and enjoy the gameplay enhancements and new cointent. There is plenty of news out there, we keep working and we have started the coop+single mode game!!

News has been ready since December about our surprise to see Perfect Dark:Source

on the MODDB Awards Top 100 without any new media. To say thank you for
your support, Nico aka Lamething has tried to make a short movie and
translate the news but as you can see, nothing happened .

So let me post some news:

1- I'd like to introduce MatthewJ And Lodle as new DevTeam members.
MatthewJ is working on in-game statistics and Lodle on a secret project
(see below).

2- We all know about the current online game crash. Gia, who should be
able to fix this bug, can't launch games through Steam due to an
overlay crash issue.
If you want to help us and help him then email Gabe at to request that they help him ^_^.

3- Shadowman has been busy modelling and has made some great props.

VGF has animated a lot of weapons and is trying to create a test map for the secret project (As I said, see below).

4- Twulf has done another awesome render art of your favorite videogame girl... Who says she isn't?

5- Secret Project?!?

Even as our current version stays bugged, due to many requests we have
started looking into Co-operative and Single player modes. Our first
guideline was too big. We had a good project but neither the hands nor
the money to do it.
So we have re-worked the guideline to be more simple. Like how to merge Single and Coop.

Lodle is working on player profiles and mission selection/status.
Recently steam have released news about how to use the info from the
Steam Community and SteamWorks, so this is what we are currenty looking

As you may know, Source SDK 2007 has introduced a lot of modifications
and many mods have stopped to update to the new engine on each update.
Xod and Bombela have reordered coding tools and are working on the task
of making updating to it simpler.
But to make SP/COOP code that can use this, we will have to start
recoding. So Gia is the main Multiplayer coder at this time, since he
can merge both codes into one clean version.

6- Even if our dev team page is a huge list. We each stay busy with our work and active members are critical

(Vgf, Shadowman, MatthewJ, Lodle, Xod, Gia (but can't work due to Steam crash), Gectou4, (Lamething?), Twulf)

So, even if you think we are dead, that's just because we are busy and only have a tiny active team ^_^.

So it's playable now? It's a nice mod, it sucks it was unplayable for such a long time. I hope there are players and servers where I have good ping!
