Research analyst H. Redwood decides to escape the facility after a terrible disaster. He receives help from a co-worker, and the two decides to work together.
Track maybe?
I know nobody's going to read this but I'm going to write my thoughts here anyway.
Developing Games has been such a great learning experience for me that I've gained a lot more confidence in my mapping and story writing skills, and about game-developing in general.
When I was developing Games, I spent a lot of time worrying about the mod's length. Because of this, I spent a huge amount of precious development time on making useless side-rooms and needlessly long levels. This led to the maps varying in detail and overall quality. That is definitely something I will try to improve upon for my future mods. I will create the levels according to the mod's story and make sure that most, if not all rooms, have a purpose. This will shorten the development time a huge deal and will improve the mod overall. If I want to have a lengthy mod, I'm going to have to have a lengthy story.
As a matter of fact, I'm going to put this new "method of mod developing" in use as I'm going to start developing Games - Episode 2 soon in nearby future. I have already started writing the script and I'm really excited about the project.
Thank you for reading!
Finally everything should work, hopefully! Report any problems please!
Fixed a lot of stuff again. Also due to some complaints about a certain puzzle being too hard I tried my best to make it a little bit more easy.
A research analyst Harry Redwood wakes up in an abandoned Venom Fox facility. With some help from a co-worker, he plans to escape the Godforsaken place.
My full walkthrough:
I've discovered a possible error. When I go into the menu to change the controls, the menu disappears, and I can't do anything after that point. Also I didn't see any sort of crosshair/hand/whatever you wanna call it when I mouse over objects, though I could interact with them. I also saw no option for such a thing.
I'm having the same issue, did you find a solution?
I deleted the Mod downloaded from my SOMA mod directory and then used STEAM to subscribe. Everything worked perfect and my saved game was still available.
Can't seem to find the button to open the security door, i searched all the rooms and noting, i did saw something on the ceiling of one room and when i aprosh it a hand icon shows but nothing happens if i click on it.
I give up, i look like a moron running around clicking everything and trashing the place just to find a button that for all i know i could have already found but doesn't work.
I have not been so scared playing a horror title for at least a year. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this mod!
how do i do that?
I have a Retail SOMA iirc,,,?
Retail ,lol if it wasn't so noob sad.
There's not any retail version of Soma.
Buy the game if you like it, do not play the Skidrow vesion.
