Total Conversion (mod) for the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Penumbra: Necrologue is a continuation of the Penumbra series made by Frictional Games. The game starts right where the last game in the series ended (Penumbra: Requiem). In our game you will see new objects, quests, textures, monsters and music. With the help of the latest HPL engine, this mod will be even more beautiful then the previous games. As huge fans of the original games, we kept the atmosphere exactly like the previous parts. The game is very story-driven and contains many objects that can be interacted with, along with clever puzzle designs.

Final version of the mod. Contained some minor changes. Fixed fps drop in and outside sewer map. Has Mac OS and Linux support. REQUIRED Amnesia 1.3 version. INSTALLING: 1. Install Amnesia - The Dark Descent 2. Apply patch 1.3 (You do not need this update if you have the game on a service such as Steam ) 3. Copy the folder Necrologue_eng to the root folder of Amnesia. Do not overwrite anything, just paste that folder next to Amnesia.exe file. 4. Open Necrologue_eng folder, copy necrologue_eng.bat and paste them to the root folder, just like in the section 3. 5. Run necrologue_eng.bat

Downloaded, opened the file with engrampa (Linux archive tool). It says read-only; I get this error: bash: ./Necrologue_eng.sh: /bin/bash^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

Hello, so I want to play necrologies since 2020 I tried all solutions but the game keeps crashing ... in 2023 I finally fixed it so, first of all, you need to download the game from here: Steamunlocked.net
2-Done? download penumbra necrologue.
3-now you have amnesia and necrologue unzip the necrologue folder
4-copy the penumbra necrologue_eng folder and paste it on (the amnesia dark descent folder where is the amnesia.exe)
5-copy the penumbra necrologue_eng.bat and paste it in the amnesia dark descent folder where is the amnesia.exe (The root folder of amnesia)
6-enjoy the game
Important Notes:
-If you have an old graphics card that does not accept the newest updates that mean you will get some problems like "crash" (for example the map problem)
-If you have the last driver's update you will play normally. Do not copy NOSTEAMUSERS and this ********... just check the drivers.
-If the game works on you normally with an old graphic card with old updates don't be happy because you might meet some crash problems in the loading screen after playing for a while.
-If you have drop fps turn off the shadow.
-Put your texture settings into high (Max) to fix some problems you might meet with.
-No need to buy the game on Steam or GoG ... download the amnesia that I gave you.
-Buying the game will fix nothing of the problems I mentioned before.
