Long ago, when the word 'Hiigara' rang only as a hollow dream, the kiith of Kharak never imagined they would walk the Path to Victory. But, when they reclaimed their Homeworld and proclaimed themselves 'Hiigaran', they believed they had reached their goal. How wrong they were. 150 years after Hiigaran landfall, conflict rages across the Galaxy... Path to Victory is a multiplayer and skirmish mod for Homeworld 2 that adds new units to both Vaygr and Hiigaran Races as well as enabling the Keepers, Raiders and Kadeshi as playable races.

It should say "We tend TO it!"...just so you know.

Hmm...still don't like it...and if it's spinning on top of that look, I'll NEVER EVER build them...even if I'm going G3K1!

Same issue here as on the Gardener...those long nozzles seem impractical, better would be eight short straight nozzles that steam out the Nebula Cloud in all directions...and it misses engines.

It actually has 16 nozzles, 8 on the end of the arms and 8 inbetween the arms. I just wanted some cool animation for it - and this was the simplest to make.

I know you don't like the design but my personal preference is to keep it as it fits the kadeshi overall. Maybe we'll get more feedback on this here ;)

Ok, if you get 5 Negative post regarding the long nozzle arms, you change it?

Weird I had a water sprinkler that looked just like that in my old house garden.

There! My point exactly! Count this as a negative post!

it does not! The post must contain words indicating dislike. Saying it looks like a sprinkler simply makes it fit the 'garden' stigma =D

It's a ship or a platform ?
I don't really like this design. It's remind me de Worldship of the Yuuzhan Vong's fleet : Starwars.wikia.com

Why don't you try something like a needle or a mushroom, like the dome of the needleship ?

While I don't like Ryuseimaru,

I agree with a few others on the ship design; It's definitely not in the spirit of the Garden (Yes, that is the correct word, they worship the Garden), the "sprinkler" like design isn't fitting for the Kadeshi's usually smooth, rounded out designs.

Anybody else reminded of the cartooney SPORE galaxy?

You can count me as being one who dislikes the curved tentacle design, no matter what ship it is used on. It isn't Kadeshi at all to me.

I'm currently trying to think of something that would be more fitting - maybe a disk with several nozzle son the bottom, looking somewhat like the front of a needleship?

Can't think of anything fitting. Given you tend to have valuable feedback potential Hell, do you happen to have any ideas in this regard?

Yes, like the front of the needleship. That's what I said ;-)
But, maybe, vertical, not horizontal. Like a mushroom or a jellyfish.

Jellyfish isn't a bad idea. Maybe play around with very long tendrils and/or multiple heads. But stay away from curving any long, thin structures. The kadeshi seem to be defined by two aesthetic themes: long, thin, straight tubular structures (needleship), and organic bulges and shapes on the hull (swarmers, MBF).

Starfish maybe? (eg: HW1 proximity sensor)
Giant Clam?
Cuttlefish?
Sea Urchin?
Horseshoe Crab?
Basically I'm thinking some crazy combination of all sorts of creatures.

Hmm, yea I'm not a huge fan of the 'sprinkler' appearance either; I'd suggest a more 'jellyfish-esque' look, like a 'Portuguese Man-o-war' or something, 'bluebottle jellyfish' etc.
'Blubber jellyfish' could be good..

i have that strange feeling if the enemy destroys at least 10 of these the holy fleet of Kadesh will fly out of hyperspace and destroy those who reject the teachings of Kadesh

Little side note on this thingy: Final version of this is the same minus the arms that open/close. The basic shape fits the role; i saw no reason for a completely differnt model. Subject to change ofc.

Description

Once two points have been invested in the 'Garden' tech tree, you gain the ability to build Nebula Generators as a separate ship. While building these Spirits of the Garden blocks you from building resource collectors, the ability to spread a virtually permenant nebula across large areas of the map is a definitive advantage.

It is advised that Kadeshi commanders always keep at least one Nebula Generator - either Podship Module or Spirit o.t. Garden - nearby at all times to provide cover for friendly Swarmers and Pods to retreat to when taking heavy losses.

Statistics show that Kadeshi fleets attempting to engage their enemy without a single Nebula Generator take significantly more losses than fleets operating with a Generator.
