yes it was also a japaneese weapon
The bren wasen't a japenese weapon. Your thinking of the Type 99. They look similar, but they are 2 differnt guns.
not so different as you think, the Type 99 Light Machine Gun came from Type 96 Light Machine Gun and that is a derivation of a ZB vz. 26 which after upgrades made by british is known as BREN (BRno - ENfield)
so both Bren and Type had the same origin
Come on, this is not Type 99 Light Machine Gun, this is just the British Bren, altho it look similar but i dont think you can just say a Bren is Type 99,FYI En.wikipedia.org
