MYSTERY DAYS EVENT - DAY 08
Today marks the eighth day of the Mystery Days event. Over the next two weeks we will be releasing a brand new image every day. We won't be saying too many words about the image it self - just letting you feast your eyes on it and take guesses as to what is to be coming on AUGUST 11TH 2010.
The first sets of these images are composed from a larger illustration that on DAY 13 you will be able to see in all of it's glory.
We look forward to being able to share these new announcements with you and we look forward to hearing your feedback.

Im also guessing it will span over possibly 3 episodes and will apparently outbeat "Halo and cod"
Also i bet it wont come onto pc because of all this torrenting about.
If they didn't put it on pc they'd be shooting themselves in the butt cheeks with a sawn-off. Also why the fk would a dev team with a modding background not bring their game to the pc? If no games ended up on pc they'd have never got to the position where they could make their game.
Anyway, might be that, might not be, we'll have to wait and see. Other than single player I'd say it's one of the more likely theories.

what for?? source mods are now standalone anyways (in a way), cos anyone can download the source sdk now
Like spooboy said, it's a seperate SDK, namely the Alien Swarm SDK, current mods can't really port over to it, so SourceMods are not "standalone", only the Alien Swarm mods will be.
not necessarily, Alien swarm allows the downloading of the other two "SDK bases"

I have to question whether this is a fair use of the moddb news system.
There are mods / indies out there who only post news once every month or two and save up a great deal of content for when they do.. Posting a single (fragment?) of an image for 13 days in a row is bumping more substantial news updates off the main page just for the sake of a PR gimmick

To the complainers: News is news no matter how much it is. Ignore it instead of coming on and ranting about it, nobody forced you to click on it.
Looking awesome anyway, cant wait for the full picaturrrr :D
