The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

Oh **** Phoenix Marines have operational Apache gunships? Are they in limited numbers or what? Since they are rather high maintenance machines. Fuel & ammo would also be in shortage. Just saying since the 1st thing the Combine would likely target would be Human air power & transit systems.

Apache? No they're Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawks with rocket pods. Although, I can see how you might mistake them from just the silhouette.
Ah, I was thinking they looked too fat to be Apaches. Always love me some Black Hawks with rocket pods on the sides, they look awesome.

Why do I always start with trying to be funny, and failing miserably. Anyways, great job. I give you 9.9999/10. I agree with the shattered glass with specular map idea, but think that you should also take AWAY the panels closest to the blast, because they would have been completely shattered. Also, not ALL glass should be shattered.
The rubble on the floor, though, is pretty much flawless. The apaches in the sky look hella dramatic. And, above all, the architecture is legendary.

"Rook" is Dutch, for "dust" or "broken" something like that, and "Stadt" (shortened to "Stad") is German for city.
