The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

Would love one for a pet if they don't. Though one of them electric collars to prevent them from barking would probably be wise.
In HL1 there is a small sucker-like mouth on the underside of their body. You can also see them eating corpses with it in some areas if you can avoid them spotting you first. I personally like to believe that they use their sonic attacks to liquefy their prey's internal organs and then use the mouth to slurp up the juices.

The model and alien and shiny texture is nice.
My only critism is that the blue texture on the back of it could do with a better texutre/pattern. Maybe so they see like the insides of it.

It really needs some skin pores.
Did you remember to use smoothing groups? Or did you just smooth out the whole thing?
Also, shouldn't you lower the polycount and just use a texture for most of the detail? That looks like it might have too many polygons.
The bluish spots need to be more metallic and refliective, like scales IMO because I think thats what VALVe was aiming for with theirs.
