The game takes place in the eve of the Seven Hour War. Fighting against blood shedding synths and frightening aliens, Adrian Shephard has to struggle his way with his fellow comrades from the Phoenix Command, with the main objective of stopping the construction of a Combine Citadel. In his journey he will find what has happened to the world, moments before the Seven Hour War.

Again, it's not a UMP 45. It's a H&K SMG II. Our gun is 100% accurate to the H&K SMG II, and was made based on blueprints of the actual gun. It resembles the UMP 45 but it's NOT the UMP 45.
I have to say that this smg looks awesome! One thing though the red dot sight is turned the wrong way as in reality the laser (that is now facing against you) is supposed to face away from the user. (the laser is in the little box facing the lens) Otherwise the laser might distract the user. But any way this is fiction it doesn't need to be reality (maybe a lens that doesn't let light pass through one way?) and the fact is that it looks awesome either way you put it. ^^ :)
That's a valid point and I noticed the same thing. In reality it wouldn't work at all, but it is a game.

Also AK47 is legendary.

AUG is Austrian, same with Glock.
But top of Firearms development are Czechs. Pistols ( Word Pistol came from Czech BTW :P ) and rifles since 19th century.
You know, Vzor 58 is best AK clone ( that isnt AK clone at all) in world, combining power of AK47 7.62 and accuracy of M16 series.
And yes, german guns are high tech etc., but remember msot of them are expensive like ****. Excluding MP5 which is pretty much average gun.

And i never heard of a good czech weapon, really, no joke.
i just know some good weapons from other countries like

You obviously never heard of the Tavor or the L85A2 which is the SA80 improved by Heckler and Koch themselves, their successful upgrade of the rifle is the reason they created the G36 and HK 416 based.

You can't, there are only a few in the world. They were only produced for a small arms program.
It's a custom built by order weapon designed for a specific client. There is only about 60, all hand crafted, in the whole world.
Vzor 58 is not an AK clone nor is it related in any way >> Its design is completely original & its chambered in com block 7.62x39mm as i was required when the Soviets "influenced" all Warsaw pact nations in Eastern Europe. AK-57 > Vzor 58 since its not as complicated & cheaper to manufacture.
And as for the best AK clones those would have to be the Polish, Romanian, & Bulgarian AKs.
Also about the HK SMG2 was it just a prototype or was is actually sold as an export weapon? Haven't seen one here in the US mush less heard about it until now.
It was discontinued. It was first introduced in mid 80s, but it never made it to series production, however, it impacted the design of the UMP that would be introduced in 94.

Well t seems this came b4 the UMP & MP7 :/ It does make alot of sense however ive done some research on it & apparently HK did make & sell up to 60 + guns for unnamed clients. So thus in the HL universe I would be surprised of certain black ops units had some for their strike teams.
Meh, in the Half-Life universe, MP5SDs have grenade launchers. I don't see why in this reality this SMG II couldn't make it to the market. :P
oh wow, this looks absolutely amazing!
If that thing where the rear sight should be is supposed to be a red dot sight, it's way too small and it's backwards. The barrel shouldn't protrude from the front of the gun, unless you're making it a silencer, in which case it should be much wider and longer than that.
And in response to your comment, MenteR, it's not just in the Half-Life universe, there are MP5s with M203s in real life.

Of course there are MP5s with grenade launchers in real life, but not MP5SDs, like in Half-Life.
Well, the v_model resembles an MP5SD3, but the w_model is an MP5A3 and the weapon icon looks like the barrel and handguard of an M4 glued to the rest of a boxy MP5A3, lol. Besides, I don't think it would be impossible to modify the SD handguard and silencer to fit an M203 to it.
The v_ model has a round handguard like the cliche MP5SD, it IS impossible to attach a M203 to a MP5SD, yet Valve did it back in Half-Life 1. :p
