Alt-History: Buenos Aires, January of 1982 - Argentine Military Junta gets overthrown after General Leopoldo Galtieri declares absolute power and purges the unreliable staff from the army, thus establishing a new one-person dictatorship. The United Kingdom and the NATO saw this as a threat to their power in the South Atlantic (and knewing that the situation could get out of hand) consequently lifted the armament embargo to Chile to gain an strategic ally (in case the warmongering army faction reigning Argentina decided to expand). Galtieri responds with the greatest rearment the Argentine State budgets could support, equipping it's forces with modern weaponry and developing their own technologies, thing that the industry of the neighboring country could not do because of its deficiencies and lack of resources.
On April, the UK signs an agreement with Chile allowing it to exploit part of the resources of the Falklands and Southern Atlantic Islands, as well as to remove the scrap metal found on abandoned towns such as Grytviken. Argentina sees this as a serious insult since they have historic claims on those lands but never had such privileges, consequently they proceed by putting an ultimatum where they demand the total cessation of those commercial actions, otherwise, they would defend their interests by initiating hostile actions. The UK refuses and the now reinforced Chile does as well, Argentina kept it's word and responds. Galtieri deploys an ambitious plan to conquer the Western Patagonia, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands with the "Sovereignty operation" from 1978 as a base, but now he's going decidedly to start a total war. The biggest and most dangerous conflict the world has seen after World War II.
Currently I am working by myself, but might need a helping hand from modelers and people who would like to help with missions (I know how to make them but I'm pretty new at it). The point is that I'd gladly accept any help, just write it on the comments and I'll contact you.
