'Operation: Red Dawn' mod

June 7th, 1954: Confidential Document "Op. 44" sent to STAVKA by Russian Numbers Station 4534a435t.

April 28th, 1959: Operation Red Dawn commences planning based on espionage information "Op. 44".

July 12th, 1960: Soviet Armies covertly mobilize and organize on key insertion points around the world dictated by STAVKA.

May 5th, 1961: The USSR enters a formal alliance with North Korea, the People's Republic of China.

January 30th, 1962: Operation Red Dawn given approval vote by all Soviet Republics.

October 6th, 1963: Spetsnaz teams Alpha-25, Gamma-63, Omega-44, organized in Chinese airfields.

October 7th, 1963: Spetsnaz teams inserted in key missile sites in Northwest Territories, Canada.

October 10th, 1963: 27th Mechanized Army, Soviet, numbering around 20,000, arrives in Canada.

October 29th, 1963: Combined Canadian-American forces in Northwest Territories, numbering roughly 50,000 men, are routed from Northwest Territories with heavy losses.

November 7th, 1963: The United States and all major European Powers officially declare war on the USSR and Warsaw Pact nations.

November 11th, 1963: Afrikan Kommunist Partya declares revolution in Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Egypt.

November 14th, 1963: Tunisian, Algerian, Moroccan, and Egyptian governments join in the North African Coalition (NAC), to fight the revolutionairies.

November 15th, 1963: Spetsnaz agents infiltrate Toronto. Prime Minister, Minister of the Army, and two Canadian Field Marshalls assassinated while discussing war plans.

November 16th, 1963: Under threat of nuclear action against Toronto, Canada officially surrenders to the Soviet Union. At least 20,000 Canadian Army deserters and prisoners, affiliated with the Communist Party, transferred to 3 new Canadian Loyalist regiments to fight for the USSR.

November 19th, 1963: French colonel Jaque Caen takes command of the NACA (North African Coalition Army).

November 20th, 1963: 70,000 citizens sentenced to death on November 21st, 1963, by Jaque Caen, due to speculations of Communist Party affiliation. 800,000 supposed sympathizers planned to be killed.

November 21st, 1963: Spetsnaz Sgt. Ivan Chernokovsky sent to assist the rebels by the Soviet Union. Jaque Caen assassinated by Chernokovsky, civilians saved.

Red Dawn: an alternate history mod for Operation Flashpoint: Resistance (NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY EARLIER VERSION. MOD BUILT WITH GOLD PACK + RESISTANCE, SO YOU WILL NEED THE ORIGINAL GAME, RED HAMMER, AND RESISTANCE TO RUN PROPERLY) which occurs after the Soviet Union launches devastating attacks on Canadian and American armies.

It is October 7th, 1963. A daring move is conducted by STAVKA, the Soviet High Command. Coined 'Operation Red Dawn', it is part of a massive war plan to assault the Western Powers and assume total control of the world(the entire plot will be revealed in the game itself). The mod is from a Soviet perspective, specifically two separate men: 1. Staff Sergeant Ivan Chernokovsky, Spetsnaz Operative. 2. Pvt. (later Major) Fyodor Koben, Russian Army Soldier. You will fight through various campaigns of World War III, including assisting a revolution in Africa, assaulting Canadian forces in the Northwest Territories, and sieging the White House in Washington, D.C. This is a primarily campaign-focused mod, with only a few major changes to the core gameplay. We currently have plenty of screenshots, and are in the process of uploading them. Expect them all up in a few days. Roughly 10 missions are complete so far, but need finishing touches.
