Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional development of a Kosovo conflict. The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaging in the rough and mountainous terrain of Kosovo. Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the Russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. The maps cover a large array of different settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops.

Said it a news before. I'm working alone on OPK and I can't support the Coop and SP. At my last activity on OPK three years before, Spyker was working on that to helping me for the bot support on all OPK Maps. Some opk statics need a rework for rhe AI, so the bots can run over opk bridges, f.e.. I can't do all this work and I don't know if Spyker is still active. So I must say, OPK is still multiplayer based. Sad but true.

The map is created from a BF community member and i got permission to use it in OPK. The original map is "Bocage 2005" from MR.Burns. I created a new sky texture with the mountains. I do this before with some OPK maps for the 0.4 release. You can see it in this news post:https://www.moddb.com/mods/operation-peacekeeper-2/news/new-vehicles-optics-hud-and-skyboxes

Edit: oh... i see the picture links are dead. I can send you some pictures of the new skybox textures later.

or u can see the skyboxes in the vids from the youtube user JimProGamer. He has done a map overview of our OPK maps from the 0.4.:

I know that OPK is not grounded in reality that much,
but still why adding T-72 alongside M84 ?
M84 is locally produced derivative of T-72,
and is lot more widespread in Serbian military,
T-72 has lot limited use.
They are also very similar.
It would be better if you added T-55 for Serbian
forces to be jointly used with M84,
T-55 was used by SCG at time OPK is taking place.

Also, it would add more to asymmetrical balance on the ground,
department in which OPK is lacking.

Yes you're right. I think I add the T-72 rarely on some maps. The T-55 comes too. I got the permission from IDF to use their T-55. This would fit better and that could be more asymmetric balance. The T-55 is older and the armor is much less then the modern tanks, but so the VSCG has more tanks available on a map as the Brits or Germans, with the modern Tanks.
