Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional development of a Kosovo conflict. The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaging in the rough and mountainous terrain of Kosovo. Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the Russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. The maps cover a large array of different settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops.

After we worked, developed and tested long time on OPK 0.3 we need some "holiday" now. But we won't spend it simply lying in the sun, we will fully addict to new games.

Nearly half of the team will be represented at the Gamescom in Cologne from 20.08 - 23.08.09.
Some will be there the whole four days, others only as one-day guests.
So keep your eyes open...

Unfortunately we can only provide limited support at this time because only a part of the team is available.

But we also have good news for you. We will release a hotfix on tuesday 25.08.2009 including a fix for a crash on the british maps.
After long troubleshooting we discovered that the texture of the L119A1-Silencer in combination with older ATI graphic cards causes the crash.
There will also be some other minor fixes, more about this on tuesday.

We also would like you to give us some feedback to 0.3. What do you like? What can we improve?
Only if we get your feedback directly, we can respond to it and and include it in the upcoming versions.
You can post your feedback .

From Saturday on you can also request the official serverfiles. Your requests will be handled internal and you will receive an answer within 72 hours.
For this you will find a thread at our forum where you can make your request. Once we have accepted your request you will be unlocked for a seperate forum area .

We ask for your understanding and wish you to continue having fun to play!

Yours sincerely,
OPK-Team
