I assume third will be like second but instead of detonation they will spawn toxic pool or. infection that will make. other exposed detonate or spread it and die?

Anyways wouldn't they be better off named fanatics or something like that? Weird to see so many volunteers to inject baneling juice into their scrotum.

They're probably named after thrax's quote "More victim- ah, err, I mean, uh, 'volunteers' for my experiments! Hahahaha!"

Dr. Thrax probably doesn't tell them what they are actually injecting.

Description

The "Volunteer" is Dr. Thrax basic infantry unit.

These troops lack combat experienced and are equipped with outdated SKS rifles, which makes them the weakest basic infantry unit.

However, Dr. Thrax' loyal servants are equipped with a "medicine" pouch giving them access to a number of abilities in combat.

An Adrenaline shot allows them to instantly heal minor wounds and get a temporary damage bonus.

The second injection ability will trigger an unstable reaction and causes the unit to explode after a short delay.

Rumors say the third injection will cause... something far worse.
