Sorry for the extremely long time span of no news or anything. I really hoped to have a lot done by June, and possibly released. We were in-fact about to release when me and Uber got in one of those spring cleaning moods and pretty much started everything over from scratch. Uber reorganized his entire python coding and at the same time completely reworked how Multiplayer plays.

Our last build wound up feeling like you were hunting the zombies. While the dark made it scary and hard it also made it feel like a chore from time to time. This made the mod feel less replayable. Another key problem of the old build was zombies running for flags. It makes them predictable and scattered. So what if we made the zombies ignore flags and choose to only aim for the player. If there is no player in sight then they just kind of hang out and chill. Flags are no longer part of the equation in the multiplayer gamemode.

Another problem with our last build was camping zombies. Even though with the above paragraph it makes it hilariously hard to camp the zombies, it's still possible. Our solution is if you now stay within a small area for too long then the zombies get enraged and you'll find them much harder to kill.

Multiplayer isn't completed but I am hoping in the end it will be very team based. Meaning if your team is all over the map fending for themselves, your all going to die horrible deaths. If you all stick together you'll have a larger chance of covering each other's backs and keeping each other well equipped in a defensive position of your choosing.

The idea for Campaign will remain, but we will have to adjust to the new system of Zombie AIs to enhance the gameplay for the campaign. However I find it will make the campaign so much easier when the zombies will always run at you instead of us having to use flags to direct them like bait of a fishing line.

OPDD is getting much more advanced and while I will be heading off to college leaving Uber to do even more of the workload (if it isn't bad enough for him as is with him working on multiple mods) but I intend to still try and at least work on the campaign until it's done. I spent too much time working on that damn story to throw it away now!

(Screenshots will be up in a few days hopefully)

I wish I can get the new release before the X-mas. :P
