Hi everyone this is previous management of the mod and I'm here to inform you of the current state of Operation: Chernobyl. Well the truth is that It's not in development in any way shape or form. A few months ago the original devs on this game left the project for life reasons and we handed development to someone else and appointed him head of the project. In his earlier posts he made the future of this mod seem bright and very imminent. I learned that in my absence the team broke up and the mod has been split into two mods for an unknown reason.
I learned this information months ago and expected the now developer to tell you all about it He has not so I'm telling you myself. It crushes me to see this passion project of mine die but I cannot work on it. You all deserve to know the truth so here it is. Operation: Chernobyl will never see the light of day. We have gone through about 7 versions of the story. about 5 maps were in development. We had about 30+ voice lines recorded. The main character dies at the end of the story in about 5 versions of all the scripts.
This is the end guys. I hate to do this but this project is now in permanent development hell and you guys won't ever be able to play it :(
If any of you have any questions about what the mod could have been I'll be happy to answer them.

Well, that sucks to hear, was looking foward for this mod! These 2 mods it split up, do they even have names or did they died as soon as they became that way?
I’m good with weapons sounds. Like really good. Been making Gmod Sweps for years. Also have a nice version of Smod with all the guns using my sounds. Msg me if you’re interested.
When I first read the title, I thought you were making a half life styled STALKER.
Not to mention the anomaly in the description.Would really have loved a half life styled stalker.

I really like the concept art in the images and on the mod's header, looks like something more original than yet another canals/coast/outlands type of setting I've seen in almost every single HL2 mod.
