Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

HECU is generally accepted to be multi-branch unit like SOCOM. You can see Apaches with "ARMY" printed on them in HL.

HECU is a special division of USMC like the 75th regiment Rangers or 22nd regiment British S.A.S, to solve problems envolving aliens and other things that a standard military force can't make it.

It's one in the chapter ''Package', where you control that Rocket Launcher on Opposing Force's HL1 where they hit the wall and then so-call the voltigores and shock trooper came. Also this is likely mostly ''HECU themed'' I like the idea and it ain't that wrong can't wait to see it in-game o:
