With over two months of what looked like inactivity, Jailbreak is about to make a final debut on to the HL mod scene with OSJB Final(version 1). The new version is a complete make-over from the old jailbreak versions, everything has had graphical re-vamps. The most important part of this release is that everything is coded from scratch, brand new. What does this mean for you, a Jailbreak player? First of all, as mentioned before, we re-coded everything, so we now have the chance to incorporate some new snazzy features, such as VGUI menues, environmental effects, stamina system, client sided radar(no more .rdr files),game rules update, and most importantly, a complete weapon overhaul(no more HL weapons). As well, with the new version, we are adding a couple new official maps, and updating old(er) ones. Within the next few days, we will release screenshots and perhaps a special treat(movie?).
