Omfgzombieslol is a Half LIfe 2 Multiplayer COOP zombie mod where players band together to fight off genetically enhanced zombies with a range of new and improved abilities. Blockades and shelter are a huge role in survival aswell as teamwork and strategy. The zombie code is being reworked to make a much greater challenge for players and teams. Multiplayer is planned with 2 teams, humans and zombies. The zombie players will lead and control squads of zombies to destroy the humans, humans must simply survive or complete some sort of goal. This mod was started on 10-10-08 and I am trying to code this in less then 2 weeks, simply because L4D will most likely kill hl2 zombie mods, so why not try my hand at it before its too late >:D

omfg_outdoor_arena released!
So, today I have OFFICIAL released my first map. I have about twenty on my hard drive, but this is the first i have decided to release. Wanna know why? Because omfgzombieslol is an incredibly fun mod, except it has too few maps. I had to do a few trade-offs for this map to be completed. I took away my very well done displacements for the ground, so you wouldn't lose physics objects, which i might revert anyways, because the corpses would just disappear, similar in manner to how they do in Left 4 Dead.
So I'm putting this "news" out for people to ready, in an attempt to bring more people to this mod, that even before it finished, people were flaming saying it was pointless and that the author should do something more worthwhile. Regardless of your initial reaction to this mod you should still try it, for one reason. It's fun. After I have said all of this, I have one more plea before I go, Mappers, I beg you make a map or two for this mod, it's lacking in the number of maps that come with it (two) and even more so on third-party maps (one, mine).

DUDE! wtf are you doing releasing the client files in RAR form? WHAT THE **** IS THAT ABOUT! NOW I HAVE TO MANUALLLY PLACE EACH AND EVERY FILE IN IT'S FOLDER! SPEAKING OF FOLDERS, I EVEN HAVE TO CREATE THE FOLDERS!!! NOW I CAN'T PLAY THE MOD WITHOUT BEING A PERFECT GUESSER! dammit!

What EXACTLY is the problem? Have you never played a mod before? The setup is easy.
hi, this mod has good potential but
1. There are no servers.
2.If you create a server it lags your computer out (well mine) because of the mass zombies spawned.
3.some zombies are impossible to kill especially the red glowing normal ones, ( never managed to get more than 200 points.

you melee the zombie goasts....
oh, yeah, it's not the zombies that lag, it's the ragdolls.
change "g_ragdoll_maxcount" to a relatively low number.
oh, and the 200 points thing, yeah, it took me a while to grasp the learning to pwnt thing.
Left 4 Dead has come, and virtually gone with no effect on any mods whatsoever :D
Hope this gives you enough reason to just keep adding and adding to this fantastic mod!!
