MAN MADE HELL


This is a repack of an English translation of the stand-alone Oblivion Lost Remake addon Vector of Alienation created by Dorian23Grey. The main feature of this modification is the professional interpretation of build stalker's storyline - turning the game into a true intellectual science fiction thriller with a deep and detailed core scenario and a lot of secondary twists and turns. Restoration of the plot content was based on many design documents of Oblivion Lost and attempted creating a cumulative, organic plot by combining the most interesting ideas of the project's changing storyline over different years. For the same purpose, separate elements and ideas from design documents and release versions of Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, as well as some mods, were introduced.

Thus, the modification is a complete revamp of Stalker's game universe using its most successful concepts, primarily the early ones. It is suitable for those who have already played through the original version of OLR, as well as those who have not played it previously. This is due to the gameplay add-on's significant differences from its progenitor.

Features


  • A fully restored the storyline of Oblivion Lost using both the design documents but also independent additions of many new core aspects. This includes redesigns of the characters we're so familiar with, such as the protagonist.
  • Reworked OLR quests, redesigned plot/dialogues, and the introduction of completely new tasks and scenes that retain the same concept. New endings and scenarios including the Wish Granter. Presence of variable nonlinear events
  • High-quality visual-atmospheric component based on the Static Lighting, formed using the best resources from all build versions, but with the prevalence of 2004-2005 style. Many weather cycles for different locations, emphasizing their distinctive moods. For maximum immersion in the good old days (and partially optimization), Dynamic Lighting had been removed.
  • Balanced gameplay based on late OLR versions, suitable for exciting progression through the plot without excessive levels of difficulty. Optimally suited for playing through of the game in one fell swoop.
  • A more lonely and unexplored Industrial and Environmental Disaster Zone, which does not seek to reveal its secrets at the earliest opportunity, but has ways of rewarding the inquisitive player at the end of the story.

Add-ons

  • The translated edition of Vector of Alienation reworks and adds several add-ons. Customize your playthrough with various additions ranging from simple sound replacements to a modern weapon pack. You can install addons through the Generic Mod Manager included in the repack.

Im not able to change any graphics settings nor resolution. The game just goes in to small screen and goes black and stays like this (i7 5820k, RTX 2070, Win10).. Any solutions?

HI there

its normal that my game crashes when i try to use the gravitational artifact that kruglov give me? when i do double click to use the artifact the game crashes

it's the only log witha crash that appears in the folder

Hi there. Can anyone help me in a quest? I'm at the Radar Bunker Lab, and i have disabled the Woodpecker-1 and there's still a quest mark for me to disable the Monolith power but there's nothing where the marker points to. The room have 3 bodies but the just have a couple of items like ammo and weapon.

Hey Stalkers,
I disabled the Brain Scorcher in Radar. But when I try to move up to the baracks, where antenas are, my game crashes every time.

Mod is great and I love some changes from original OBLR 2.5, like much less zombies everywhere. But is it me, or some content like side quests were removed? And why so many weapons lack animations from orginal OBLR 2.5?

Yeah, the mod is based on an earlier version of OLR so it doesn't have as much side content.

There is a supposed workaround for the type of crash you are describing in the readme of the mod, you can edit alife.ltx to walk past the crashy zones, it's likely a faulty mutant spawn but there's nothing I could do to fix that.
