The promised updates are coming, this being the first one, with My Magical Missles.
Yesterday I was experimenting with missles and their trails, as uptill then they just went straight for their target, and that looked stupid, so after some screwing around with the code I made them go in arcs towards their target, which looks much cooler.
The magical part is, is that I was testing random things when I was working on the missle trails, and for some weird reason I came up with this, in the particle editor it looks normal but ingame when you zoom in and out the colour changes from deep red to light green (?!?!?!???)
So for all those people who wanted red for the sith and green for the republic I found the LOL-awnser, a changing colour. I stumbeled across this by accident and find it pretty funny, and I'm keeping this. Also going to be recoding all the hardpoints that need recoding, like the giant super cruiser of the sith, not to mention I still have to finish my Sith Battlecruiser model (https://www.moddb.com/mods/old-republic-at-war/images/2-models-you-choose1#imagebox)

huh, looks interesting enough...only question i have is why do you have the smoke rising in columns? there's no "wind" or gravity in space, so there's nothing to make it form a column. I'd prefer to see it either as a expanding ball, or moving away from the direction the light is coming from aka, blown away by the solar wind.
The original EaW had the smoke like that.. Its not something that was made for this mod.
What "smoke" are you talking about? There's no smoke, only fire (unrealistic enough in space lol) but that was specifically made so it would go in each random direction. If you mean the spacestation that station is to be replaced.
hey geroenimo, how would you feel about removing the strident's bridge tower, and use those bent wing things as the bridge section. It would fit with the sith battleship seen in "the Return". :D
