Moddified the skin a bit to make it look a bit more gritty.

This one's made by Warb, I make the models on my Re mod, ORAW is still mostly warbs ships, though I've got some models in this one aswell, Harrowers for example.
I see Warb's name on a whole lot of models for a variety of mods.
does warb make the models and u add ur own touch or is it just warb. ive always been wondering cause youre mods look sooooo realistic like graphic wise. so i was jw if u add ur own touch to the models
If you look at warbs ships, then look at the ships in my mod, you'll see a meriad of changes, from hardpoints to textures to turrets.
So is this just a re-skin or is this a whole other more powerful ship with different capabilities?

Because this look waaaaaaaay better than my aged thranta.
Why not both? Keep the orginial Thranta as lower tier support ship, reduce its price from 7800 to ~6800 and use Zenith as the upgraded version of the original one, costs 8200, added ion cannons and more lassssers.....I think it can help preserve the Thranta while adding new one~ :)
No that'd just be a straight up upgrade, the exact same ship with slightly more power. Boring as ****, I want unique ship roles and not "ohh look this ship has 2 more shield points and 3 extra lasers, whoooo"
Unique abilities could could separate rolls a bit making the thranta a higher tier mulitrole cruiser tonnage ship with limited anti fighter weaponry and maybe missle jamming abilities while the zenith could be a strait up light battleship with heavier armor and a power to weapons or assault ability. Just an idea though. Your mod your rules.

Wasn't this the Praetorian-class Frigate?
Google a picture of that, then come back and look at this.
A praetorian class looks like a smaller hamerhead without the wings on the sides and a more rounded command section. The zenith looks like a nebulon B and a hammerhead had a baby.
Basically looks like a heavier variant of the Thranta, looks pretty cool too!

Your thranta is a kick *** model, imo it shouldnt be replaced nor does this look better than it. One should serve a role the other serves another. They both have unique looks.
Sure, if you can give me a good role for it that is unique and fits the theme, give me a shout, because I'm out of unique republic capital roles to fill.
Now don't hate cause I don't know much about this era since I haven't played a single Old Republic game, other than this mod of course, so I have to rely on wiki for info here. According to wiki the Thranta was a corvette and was slightly smaller than the Hammerhead so why not make it smaller and a lot cheaper and make it a support ship. It has all those missiles so it can be an artillery ship or something. I do agree that it would be sad to see the Thranta go since it is one of my favorite ships in this mod mostly because I really like the texture on it. I think this Zenith Cruiser might look better with that same darker red you have on the Thranta though that is just icing on the cake since this is already a great looking model and texture.
The only reason I say keep it is because it played such a role during the GGW. Plus its a fantastic unit. Maybe it can be just less powerful than the new ship, but it should not be removed. Thats just my opinion.
It could be some kind of command ship for a jedi with battle meditation. slight buff for all fighters (e.g. more firepower) and ships (e.g. more health). Of course you could basically use any ship for that so there´s still no actual reason to keep the thranta in. It´s just again this "hey I like that ship so keep it in"-thing.
I'm begging you, add it as a separate ship please, because the're both (Thranta & Zenith) AWESOME and INCREDIBLE!!! Please!

you said you keep it when u find a better role for it.
replace thrantas role with the awesome looking zenit cruiser
and use the thranta as fast frigate-hunter but not a very good ship versus capitals. would make sense this ship got huge engines and its not extremly huge but big enough to deal with frigattes :)

Thranta is love, Thranta is life, pls dont retire her. She is my number one favorite in the mod :(
While I'm sure that most of us here would support you in whatever decision is made, I feel that both this ship and the Thranta should have their place, and not just because both of them look epic.
All the small caliber secondary batteries make me think that this ship could serve well as an anti-fighter escort while still retaining the ability to ward off smaller frigates and the like.
In the same manner, the Thranta, should you choose to keep it should be more of a frigate killer with less AA guns and more missiles and/or main caliber guns.
Regardless, both are awesome!

Alright, new plan: Zenith cruiser is a unique hero ship, but I don't know any significant TOR era Republic admirals, if anyone knows any, please put a star wars wiki link here so I can check it out. Thranta will remain in the mod with this.

Btw I think of sth: Maybe the Zenith-Class, apart from being hero starships, it can be the 'Fleet Commander' Unit. Maybe with 2 Hammerheads and 2 Forays as escort fleet too~
In that case the cost of the Fleet Commander can be at around 12100s, not sure if this idea works lol.
Similar idea can also be with the Empire and the Mandos side, but I haven't yet think of which ship is suitable as fleet commander for them...
No it doesn't work because the Inexpugnable already exists as a command ship that comes with a bunch of other ships.
The other 2 faction will absolutely NOT get a ship that functions in that way, asymetrical warfare is key to fun gameplay.
Good idea adding this ship, and nice changes to the texture. The details are even better now.
