Golden tip even for the vanilla games. What's great about Stalker is that, for some quests, you cannot just mindlessly do jobs and reap the benefits. Sometimes you have to think about what you are risking when you are assassinating someone or going somewhere unfamiliar. OGSE brings it up to the next level, which is one of the many reasons why I love the mod.

I think you still can kill him after he gives you the level changer...

But so far I discovered that it is not a good idea to kill NPCs as you please.

Too bad, you missed out on one of the more fun and creative quests in OGSE, the Doctor's monster safari in the Marshes.

if you have talk with deserter before kill him it's ok, go into military base in agroprom and you'll find a map with level changer into a box at last level
