It's based on an old concept art. I think it's basically a zombie with a Rusty Hair on its head. If you get near it, it releases a cloud of spores that kill you.

Not bad! In "Lost Alpha" not was a parasite, are mentioned. Parasites will be in "Dead City"? Reminds headcrab from Half Life.
