17 Pounder "Achilles" Tank Destroyer image - Normandy 1944: European Theater mod for Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
Normandy '44: European Theater combines a higher level of realism with a more elaborate doctrine system, which incorporates almost 50 different military units that took part in the period of Jun-Sept 1944. This spectrum ranges from divisions of free Polish and French units serving under the main allied armies to volunteers from the Eastern Front that served in the German Wehrmacht. This is only a small portion of the doctrine variety however, as we feature numerous well known units of all factions as well. The mod also features numerous new abilities and custom made units each with a completely revamped size and structure. Between custom made units and structures with historically correct skins, Normandy '44 offers over 150 NEW UNITS, making for an almost endless variety of different scenarios and unit actions. Combined these factors provide for an experience unlike any other mod for CoH!
The 17 pounder, Self Propelled, Achilles was a British variant of the American M10 Tank destroyer armed with the powerful British Ordnance QF 17 pounder anti-tank gun in place of the standard 3" (76.2 mm) Gun M7. With a total of 1,100 M10s converted, the 17 pdr SP Achilles was the second most numerous armoured fighting vehicle to see service armed with the 17 pounder gun, behind the Sherman Firefly.

I was asking myself "When its the release coming already?"
Then I was like "OMFG! ITS LIKE TWO DAYS AWAY! OISHIEUFBSEKFNSDUIFOAPWSIFN!"
Nobody ever said anything was being released. The past 23 days have been a public relations campaign to show off new units of v2.0.

Nobody ever said v2.0 was ready to be released. Many of the models that have been featured in the campaign have even been presented as "works in progress", so where you got any inclination we were approaching a release date I have no idea.
I saw it like this: "25 new units! One every day until Xmas!" Then I though the release must be on Xmas or something.

There is no release planned in two days. Where the above poster got that idea I have no clue.

No, the reference above is to the PR campaign we ran this month, not a playable campaign for the mod.
