This mod makes it so that no units (except Settlers because otherwise the AI won't advance in the game and the Settlers will just sit there all game) take up population. Moreover, the build limit for Outposts, Blockhouse, War Huts, etc... are also increased to 500 (pretty much infinite xD) To install, go to your Ao3DE instal folder then open the folder "Game" and then the folder "Data" (probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\AoE3DE\Game\Data) and replace the "data.bar" with the one in the download. PLEASE BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL DATA FILE FIRST!!! I tested the mod myself and it works fine for me, but if you run into any issues please let me know in the comments!

Post feature Report RSS No Population Limit/No Outpost Build Limit Mod Fixed and Updated for African Royals

Fix and update on how to use and download the previous mod that I have posted!

Posted by on

So many of you have been complaining that my previous file didn't work for you, so I have fixed and updated it for African Royals and the American civ via a different method. Before, my mod worked for me, and I have tested this new version and it works aswell. So what this does is set the population of every unit that originally had a population value of 2 or above to 0, aswell as increase the build limit of all defensive building to 99. Therefore, troops that occupy 1 population and Settlers still occupy 1 population (couldn't work around it in a way that doesn't break the game).

So, now to download:

1) BACKUP YOU DATA FILE IN THE SAME DIRECTORY AS THE PREVIOUS DOWLOAD THAT I POSTED!! VERY IMPORTANT!!

2) Download the file from this link and replace your original data file (THAT YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY BACKED UP) with this: 1drv.ms

3) Open the game and enjoy!
