This mod aims to recreate the atmosphere of the period of the War of the Grand Alliance, also known as the Nine Years War. The mod will reflect the transition from matchlock to flintlock and from pike to bayonet. There will be a new faction (the Cossack Hetmanate and the Jacobites). The mod will incorporate some units of the Hetmanate TW mod with some changes to reflect the late 17th century.

Would you be able to do a mod on the war of Spanish Succession. All that would really have to be done is change the hats that aren’t tricorns to tricorns and give most units flintlocks. The uniform patterns are fine as is, because they are almost identical to those of the 9 Years War.
I'd like to get around to doing a WSS mod at some point.
i've installed the mod but it dosen't work
Make sure there arent other mods in the Data folder too, and make sure to install the Startpos.esf file correctly as per the README file instructions.

I noticed that while playing battles, the UI around units is completely transparent. Anyone else having this issue and know a fix? Otherwise, mod is pretty cool.

Hey I am a big fan of the late pike and shot era, could you possibly think about doing the war of Spanish succesion?
Well your mod looking awesome and i would love to play it but it does not work for me right now. I did the copy/paste of the files in their proper folders and i run Empire (Steam Version) and CTD or it goes to the loading screen of a short campaign and CTD again! I will try with the Mod Manager and post later!! I tried with the MM CTD there too and i don't have anything in the scripts folder exept the preferences. Any help or workarround i really wanna play this mod!!??
Follow the instructions in the README file. I run it without Modmanager. Its important that other mods are removed first. Check your user script file to make sure it isnt still listing other mods that might be conflicting. Also try "Run as Administrator" for Steam.
Well i did a clean install, copy paste the files in their proper folders, delete the App Data\Roaming\the CA\Empire folder, run the game as administrator, The game loads i choose to play as England and when it loads CTD. Very sad for this!! Now i will try with non Steam version of ETW what can i do i really wanna play your mod but i don't think i will have success!!?? No it does not work with non Steam version too so i am done with this mod bu i have to say that it looking awesome i like this period 9 years war with the 7 years war (The French and Indians War in America) and AWOI are my favorite periods o RTS to bad i would not play with this mod maybe if you update it might work..!!
Thanks for the quick response. I followed the instructions and did all that you say. I don't have any other mods. I will unistall ETW and do a clean from the start install of the game and your mod, will run it as administrator and post later!!
NB I have only tested the mod with the Steam version of ETW. I cannot vouch for how it runs on the non Steam versions.
FalconerOmen if you can help or someone i don't know what is happening now Empire 2 and Imperial Splendour does not work too i follow the instructions all of the steps for the 3 mods with yours but what i get is CTD when i try to load the game or when it loads to start a campaign and stuff. I can't manage to make a mod work and i can't play it vanila i don't like it vanila. Again i have the game in Steam with the latest updates and stuff???? For the love of God i just want to play one of those 3 mods of course yours too but i can't make it work!!??????
Yeah as i said does not work for me with Steam or not steam versions. Very strange if it works for you and the other people and it does not work for me at least the steam V. ETW2 and Imperial Splendur mods works just fine. Exept - AppData\Roaming\The CA\Empire and exept the games folder is there an another folder to find and delete files and stuff to make the mod work!! Don't know very strange!!!???
