Is it fine if I install Biomod+Shifter (or Shifter only) after Nihilum is installed?
If it's compactible, where to put the 'Biomod' files so that I have it on both DX and Nihilum?

Well, the best way is to install Biomod (and/or Shifter) first, and DXN after that. It is possible to install them after DXN, but then you have to make manual changes in the DXN .ini files.

With New Vision and HDTP installed I had some bug where Mad Ingram's face texture was messed up. If you go into Settings->HDTP Options then set JC to false and then load any save it fixes this.

How to install with New Vision properly? I'd like to replay it ;)
The first time I played without New Vision... which is the order to install them?

New Vision has to be installed first (so that the installer will copy the directories in the correct order to DXN's fgrhk.ini).

(HDTP also needs to be installed before DXN, if you're using it.)

Alright, so I install Deus Ex GOTY, then New Vision, (then HDTP), then Nihilum, then play Nihilum. Confirm?

Is there a way I can put the original ambient music back?
I have Tinitus in my left ear and have to avoid noises that make it worse.

The new ambient music has this subtle re-occurring high pitched sonic sound that is like a drill in my ear drum. In the first map example when I was going through the beginning of the game to the offices, medical & tech areas. That's as far as I could make it. I had to stop playing the game and my ear is still buzzing really bad.

I'd like to continue to play it but I need a way to disable that one sound. Or just put the original music/sounds back in. There'd be no atmosphere if I were to mute the sound and effects entirely.

It reminds me of that high pitched sound people would complain about in the Metro game in the tunnels when the monsters rushed.

DXN itself still has the same RetroXor soundtrack from 2013, the DLC have new other new/previously unused tracks.

I guess the easiest way would be to replace the bothersome tracks in \Deus Ex\fgrhk\Music with other ones (the ambient track in MPS HQ is music5_ambient.ogg for example).

I'll give that a try. Thank you! :)
