I looked at the demo and it seems that unless we picked up a combine soldier’s bulletproof vest like in Riot Act, it’s better without such a suit in the style of a blue shift or like in the city of 17 episode one, where there was just poor health and no rechargeable suit like in the OL modification of the dangerous world 1 - which was nonsense and a sign of a lack of skills in modding, one must learn to make such heroes without a suit or armor system, as I said, or a rechargeable suit of a combine soldierthe rebel's rechargeable suit is strange,
Rebels wear metropolice vests, thats the reason we can charge it.
For example in entropy zero we are a metropolice officer and we can charge our vest. The same is for the protagonist.
I would also call it a simplification, since THIS IS NOT an energy combat body armor, but a simple body armor like Barney in the blue shift, which is not loaded but replenished with armor from the corpses of the guards; in the Civil Protection modification, its author implemented the armor selection mechanics as in the blue shift, but the author of entropy zero could not, well, okay; if you like it, then so be it...
We don't know for sure if metropolice vests are power combat armor. We believe they do charge their vests, just like in opposing force, since metropolice outposts contain chargers. Also, we could easily make the chargers not work in our mod, but we chose the metrocops vest to be a PCV. I even made the vest to be a low tier PCV, so citadel chargers only charge to 125. Not sure why you are making this such a issue, just think that in our version of the universe, the civil protection wear a power combat vest.

The game is stuck. The section in citadel where I walk without weapons, a combine shows up around the corner and the rebel from the balcony comes and kills him. Then he shouts "hey, over here!" and just stands there. I assume he should open the door for me. I tried to reload a save but still nothing. He doesn't want to go.
You need to direct him to the combine panel, so he can open the door.
This is indicated better in our version.

Finished it, enjoyed it quite much, looking forward to play the rest! The only "bug" I could find is that you can keep the grenades if you are fast enough but you placed another trigger around the corner hehe :)
I removed both of them in our version, the original purpose was to avoid the player being able to save "chad07". But now the player can't save him, so the triggers is not necessary anymore.
