It will add countless new features to the existing network tools, such as new overpasses, highway onramps, intersections, ped-malls, a ground light rail network, roundabouts and turning lanes. I gave this a go. Initially Mojave said the installer was "damaged and can't be opened." I retried downloading it twice and none worked. I've restarted and even reinstalled Mojave, to no avail. Then I came across this 'xattr -cr' command on the web. I've tried it and then run it, and the installer flashed open once and disappeared. The title bar said "Wine" briefly. Has anyone else had any luck?

Have the same problem. Have not yet tried the xattr option, I'll rather wait until this is solved ie the installer just works without any workarounds.

Here's what I've done to get the installer to run:
I extracted both the Sierra Wrapper zip and the Mojave Wrapper zip per the instructions provided, ending up with both .app's on the desktop.
I ran 'xattr -cr NAMMojaveWrapper.app' from terminal.
I opened the package contents of both the Sierra Wrapper bundle and the Mojave Wrapper bundle.
I copied all three folders under drive_c from the Sierra Wrapper bundle to the same location in the Mojave Wrapper bundle, merging whenever prompted.
I opened the Wineskin app in the Mojave bundle by double-clicking it.
I opened the Advanced dialog and set the Windows EXE to: "C:\Program Files\NetworkAddonMod_Setup\NetworkAddonMod Setup 36.exe"
I am now able to run the Mojave Wrapper bundle by double-clicking it.

For those who can't wait for the installer to be fixed, I hope this gives you enough of a workaround to get you going. For Tarkus, hopefully this gives you enough details to fix the installer. Cheers!

I tried that workaround but it didn't work... :(
when running that line (xattr -cr NAM36MojaveWrapper.app) from terminal it just says "no such file" but it should be the proper name at least as far as I know... ( but I don't have a proper .dmg file for that mojavewrapper anyways. after opening the folder it is no dmg file but already a program and if I click on that icon it says its broken...

I tried to continue with your steps anyways but when I open the wineskin app in the mojave bundle I get an error that "The folder “exec4200653200.bat” doesn’t exist"...

I have no idea.. so I guess I'll have to wait till Tarkus changes his installer... :(

I am just so mad at me cause I just updated to mojave a few week ago and yesterday I wanted to stat playing simcity again... well I guess I'll have to play without the NAM for the time being...:(

edit: after trying it for about 4-5 times it somehow worked suddenly... no idea what I did differently but now it worked... THNAKS!

Just to give everyone here a heads up, NAM 37 just entered internal alpha testing at long last. Right now, it's unlikely there will be any further revisions to this package for NAM 36.

Wineskin and Mojave are not the best of friends, as best I can tell. I had to use an "unofficial" fork, as the original version has not been updated to deal with the curveballs Apple threw with Mojave update.

NAM 37 is planned to still use the same NSIS installer for Windows--which does mean we'll be forced (at least initially) to give the wrapper system another go for the Mac.

After that, however, we're looking at changing installer systems (and packaging/file architecture in general), and have a potential in-house solution, which is cross-platform. The plan is to have whatever new system we're planning on using be in place for NAM 38, though if that cycle ends up being a long one, we may consider a mid-cycle phase-in of the new system.

We're also having to watch out for Apple's impending "32-bit apocalypse" with macOS 10.15 (the version after Mojave--likely being released Fall 2019). The SC4 Mac Port, like all other versions of SC4, is currently a 32-bit app, and if Aspyr doesn't decide to give it the 64-bit treatment, it's not going to be playable with 10.15.
