Neptune is a single-player modification for Half-Life 2, taking place entirely outside the mother game's universe. Set primarily onboard a mysterious and desolate cruise liner, floating in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, Neptune allows the player to slowly unravel the dark and disturbing past of the ship as he/she explores its once-grand rooms, corridors, concert halls, restaurants, bars and maintenance areas. Taking influence from games such as System Shock 2, BioShock, Thief: Deadly Shadows and Silent Hill, Neptune is an atmospheric, narrative-driven, horror-based shooter; an exercise in videogame storytelling and tense level design. It is expected to be released in Q3 2009.

Lighting is great, but the stock textures are too dirty and worn for cruise liner locker room. HL2's textures are fine for cities-that-have- been-under-dystopian-regime-for-decades kind of settings but for a cruise liner it should look a little bit more new and clean. Look at Bioshock. Sure it was dark and parts were flooded but the wood panels and the brick walls were in a pretty decent state. If you are planning on using more custom textures than just ignore this message :D.

This is right down in the rickety maintenance area near the engine rooms. Don't worry - the rest of the ship is a lot cleaner!

People are so quick to critice a mod even though its free they still have pretty high expectations for mods like cmon guys their making this for free and you people still spend your time putting-down mods.
I just think you can't really complain to something thats free and you have a choice to use it or not.
