well yeah what did you guys expect? After all it is the future, stuff gets smaller with time... Especially transistors (More's law)
Supports units are big guys, they tower over recons, you should see them holding a SMG.

As posted, supports are BIG and make that gun look smaller than it is, its a scale thing. It had to be the size it is because the scout can unlock and use this gun after they rank up and it looks like a beast in a scouts hands ;)
