I just downloaded 8.5 and it has a few issues.
- The interface now has you chose between classic and hardcore without knowing what is what.
- The Coalition Campaign interface for the maps only allows for Austria, England, Prussia, and Russia. Maps look very Jr High school as apposed to the older maps.
- The Start button seems to be clumsy, had to click about it several times for it to select a campaign. Had to let it slightly change color and then click.
- Starting as Prussia the missions are all blank texts. But it does show me the reward amount. Do you need more testers?
I had 8.4 patch installed -- does that need to be backed out??
Peninsula Campaign will only be released in 8.6.
Ikr, basically there is no campaign, it sucks because I played it before 8.3 and it was working, but now isnt.
The NTW campaigns were NOT included with the v85 patch. They needed a vacation to update and work on the new Peninsula campaign (with CB stats & units). The updated 1805 Europe, Ottoman & Peninsula campaign will be included with the next release. Live.staticflickr.com

[SOLVED]I can't update the mod due to a bug of the installer; It says there is no Napoleon.exe file in the game's folder, but thats false. I've checked and the file is there. Has someone the same problem as me?

-Edit: Now it works, it just was creating another Napoleon Total War folder inside the game's one.
So to install this "patch" do we uninstall 8.4 first??
Any idea of when the 8.6 patch will be released? Can't wait to play the SP campaign :)
When I start a battle only one man of a unit spawns. How do I fix this?
maybe just do a clean install?
Well after some testing I resolved to go back to the steam baseline of the definitive edition and then just installed 8.3 core -- and all the text starts missing from there. And gets worse if I install 8.5 after that.
