Napoleonic Era is a renowned, fan-made modification for Age of Empires 3 and its expansions The Warchiefs and The Asian Dynasties. The mod intends to accurately illustrate the time from 1555-1815 by greatly expanding and reworking the game with new units, buildings, maps, sounds, music and civilizations. The mod has been founded in January 2006 by Alexander Fleger and is being continued by Peter Piepenburg since February 2010. It is still one of the most anticipated mods for Age of Empires III in the whole world.

Partyzant

The Partyzant is a fragile but powerful unmountable cavalry archer, meaning it can fight on both horseback (where it is faster), or on foot (where it is stronger). It is available from the Fortress Age, and a card can enable it to use stealth while on foot.

Lisowczyk
The Lisowczyk is a cheap, weak, and fast cavalry unit with a very strong bonus against infantry. It is available from the Colonial Age and can be very devastating if upgraded and managed effectively.

Additionally to these shiny new graphics we also have a statement from our Lead Artist on unit voice sounds:
"The Polish graphics are now finished, which means that the Polish, Italians, and Swedish are all finished not only in terms of graphics, but sound as well. Although the voices themselves remain unchanged from the last version, the sounds themselves have been trimmed, edited, and filtered to a much higher quality. I have removed ambient noise distortion, and made sure that their volume and durations were comparable to those of the original civilizations." -- Matthew Sher
