Installation Instructions -
Simply extract the mod to your mods folder and use the mods batch to launch the game!
How to use the mods batch -
Copy and paste the medieval2.exe in your base medieval 2 folder and rename the newly copied file to 'kingdoms'..
After doing that simply double click the mods batch - -
Important information!
You must re-apply the 4gb patch for the mod to work! The new version is very demanding, for those who don't know to how apply the patch follow these steps..
1. Right click the following file and run as administrator. -
2.Navigate to your medieval 2 folder and select the medieval2.exe -
3.Tick the box then click save. -
4. Repeat steps 1-3 and patch the kingdoms.exe also!

Mac compatible?
I'm not sure sorry, Mac is alien to me.
It's not, for the mod to work on a MAC you'd need to 1. remove the De Bello Mundi siege-engines and 2. make the custom cities compatible with a Mac.

i cant play coustom battle, and i am playing 2.3
Only Kings Landing, Dragonstone and Moat Cailin are available in custom battles at the moment, you must choose 'fort' first then change culture and settlement level accordingly so it doesn't crash.
There will be a patch that will add more settlements to custom battles.
so you can't play the custom siege maps in campaign, is that correct?
No, you can play the custom settlements in a campaign.

I've had problem where children of the family tree are dying at age 12(the turn they become of age and become generals) but the daughters are becoming princesses with no problem. This is fixed?

So how do I switch it to full screen
I'm having this issue also, I don't have the 'Large Address Aware' in amongst the files to perform a certain step & when I do launch the batch file its in a window, seems to crash the game when I full screen it (or the game crashes anyway from me not having the large address aware)... I'm hoping a youtuber will upload a how to install video soon for 2.3 haha.

That seems to have worked perfectly for full screen without crashing, awesome! & luckily I already had the the patch downloaded from a previous mod. Thank you very much. (haha yeah i only use games from stream no pirates).

Indeed, I'm paying close attention to all the pics of the House of the Dragon show. I'm sure a lot of the designs will be added to new units in the future.
Personally I'm not the biggest fan of the Targaryen soldiers armour from the pics, hopefully there will be different styles as there are a couple of Targaryen factions at the time.
Alt+tab to desktop makes the game crash after trying to go back to the game

You need to patch you're mtw2 to 4gb, instructions are in the descriptions.

ok I did everything but I m only able to play custom and quick battles but no campaigns is there a way to fix this cause I m going mad I haven been searching for a day
The 4gb patch won't work with a pirated version of mtw2. Is you're mtw2 legit or pirated?

Hey Peaman, I have run the 4gb patch. I found a bug, where at some locations when you click on the Army garrisoned there the game will crash. I noticed this with the Shadow Tower on WOT5K playing as the nights watch and with Riverrun in the Greyjoy rebellion playing as house Tully.

When I start a Campaign with Targaryen, like War of the 5 Kings, I have dragon units with 3 dragons.
Whilst with the Conquest Campaign and the spawn army for Targaryen in turn 0 I have just 1 dragon per unit.
I know it’s a limitation of MTWscript but I’m wondering of could ve possibile to use the same mechanism in all campaigns.
I’ve tried to replicate the same spawn scritp from Conquest Campaign with correct dragons and character but something went wrong (I’m very poor in modding...)

hey i just played your mod and its amazing. when i try the feast for a crow campaign, whenever i end my turn at turn 43 or 44 the game always crashed. and whenever i tried to play custom game its always crash at loading screen can you help me with this issue?
