I've reworked (see: deleted and rebuilt from scratch) the opening map so that it falls inline with the plot.

too pale for my taste. what about some cracks or dirt?
I'll see what I can do, but I don't want the apartments to appear too run down. Generally speaking, your ceiling should be the cleanest part of your house. :P
