Thank you. Thank you. I always appreciate correction.

But seriously tho the only thing darker than the Sith is how frickin' stupid overpowered they made Rey.

"is how frickin' stupid overpowered they made Rey"

That, sir, is the understatement of the century!

The HISHE videos do a fantastic job of eviscerating just how damned stupid the Disney Wars trilogy is, and they do it nicely and with humor.

I, on the other hand, have had my fill of the Disney cabal, as have well over half of the fandom, and the plummeting merchandise sales prove that in spades.

It's too bad, as the new cast were great actors. They needed a BELIEVABLE character other than Rey. Ahsoka Tano is a perfect example of what COULD HAVE been done. She's one of The Finest characters ever.

They squandered SO much. Heartbreaking really.

Preach it!

I was really pumped when the first trailer dropped for TFA. And then I watched it and thought it was fine but not superb. And then I thought about it. And then I didn't like it. And then I really thought about it and realized that Rey was a really flat and uninteresting character... who beat a partially wounded trained Jedi - turned - Sith Skywalker and won. Given that a Sith in pain is actually a more powerful Sith (circa Darth Maul)I got a little worried about TLJ. And now I'm dead. I mean the whole new trilogy lacks any semblance of logic, storytelling and flow between the episodes. It makes the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise sound like a comedy it's so sad.

But then the Mandalorian came around and I've been resuscitated. THAT'S how you do a Star Wars sequel.
