So you're saying there's gonna be a Luke training on Dagobah level?

Looks AWESOME!

Poor Luke, he gets his butt kicked by Yoda's hardcore training, and all he can barely do is float three small rocks in the end.

He should have stayed home on Tatooine, and just waited for the goddess Rey to be born. After all, she moved TENS OF THOUSANDS OF TONS of BOULDERS within a few day of learning that she had the Force! And with NO training of ANY kind!

Get out of here LOSER!

Your "goddess" was cursed with the bland and boring effects of the "Mary Sue/Gary Stu" character type. That's how she was able to lift tons of rocks while Luke was only able to lift up only 3. In writing a character, you shouldn't make your character perfect otherwise it would make them boring and unrelatable. It makes perfect sense why you shouldn't be able to do everything on the first try with no training at all. If you don't believe me, try doing something you haven't done before and see if you got it on the first try or even in a matter of hours. In Empire, Luke was unable to lift his X-Wing while Yoda, with centuries worth of training and experience, could with extreme concentration. In TRoS, he then could lift it after training for 31 years. That's what makes characters like Miles Morales (Into The Spider-Verse), Rocky (The Rocky Movies), and Neo (The Matrix) more interesting and relatable in their own respective stories. At the beginning, they had little to no training and/or experience at what they do. As the story progresses, they gain more experience and training and by the end of the story. They were more experienced than they were at the beginning of the story and they have a bunch of training done since then. Was Rey experienced and trained when the events of TFA? Yes, she was combat-wise but she didn't have any training when it comes to the force. Is that excuse to be a Mary Sue? No, she should have been treated like every other character that wasn't perfect and had problems of their own, along with their character developments and arks.

With that rant out of the way, I'm saying that Luke isn't perfect and that makes him a great character and how he is able to relate to us. :)
