Monster Mod is server-side modification, developed as a Metamod plugin.
This was the worst (not fun at all) part I've ever worked on in this project.
Managed to solve a lot of the crashes in this patch, never spent so many hours in this project as I've done now.
Spent a lot of time redo Barney, Scientist, Otis and Grunt Commander which you won't notice so much about comparing to the previous version(s) of them.
As you can see in this video:
1. Barney and Scientist are able to speak to each other now, like they do in Half-Life.
2. If a Barnacle catches a victim, the victim will call all visible ally NPCs for help.
3. Temorary solution until a 2nd programmer, monsters keep on moving than going to idle state like a moron if they can't reach their enemy.
4. Human Grunts and Male Assassins intelligently decide whether or not to crouch/stand when attacking to prevent them from firing into the obstacle in their way when they crouch, like sandbags e.g.

Looks really nice. I hope I will manage to lower my ping to go to the server again.
