Summary:

<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 </xml><xml> </xml> Modern Dead" is, fundamentally, a psychological horror game that allows the player to immerse oneself in the game. This includes hand gestures in dialogue, first-person rag-doll's, and head-bob when sprinting. The game is designed to push the engine to the limit with an open, life-like map, and enemies that have different AI as the game progresses.

There is a lack of games that have a realistic first-person experience; so we want to deviate from some of the binds and standards of other games. We want to have a more unique experience for the player, one that really makes the player immerse oneself.

The landmarks and the layout of the map is designed in a way that people can get familiar with it quickly, but still have lots to explore.

Storyline sneak peak:

Brice's eyes peeled open, his head was pounding from the night before. His tired sore eyes glanced at the clock... 8:45am.

"Shit!"

He stood, a beer can crushed under his weight. He was late he's always late. After pulling on his black hoodie, he opened is bedroom door. After jumping over a laundry basket and crouching under his fridge leaning against the wall, Brice found his way outside. As he jogs up a gravel curve he hears a loud pop in the distance; ignoring it he continues to school. Arriving just as the bell rings, he takes his seat. The room seemed empty, only a few kids were there. Brice looks over to one of his classmates Lloyd Palmer.

"Where is everyone?"
"I don't know."

Confusion filled there voices.
"You see those vans outside the gym?"
Brice shrugged; "No... why?"
"Over heard some teachers saying it was the military!"

Brice was about to reply when, vomit filled the floor beside him. Philip a 12 grader was sweating like mad holding his stomach.
"Philip are you okay?" Brice was beginning worry.
"He's probably just hungover from your party last night."
