The Sea Shadow (I think it is) looks like a submarine. But the Sea Shadow is only a cloak of invisibility ship not a submarine.

The modern American Navy Retired their Battleships for a multitude of Reasons, the first they are SLOW, the Second they are inaccurate as compared to the missile Frigates of Today, third the Big shoot me sign. With missile Frigates Such as the Ticonderoga Class that produced more firepower with greater accuracy, and better maneuverability they saw no need to keep building big lumbering inefficient Battleships. Not to mention the Los Angeles Class submarine that could fire a large multitude of Cruise missiles, without being detected. the military isn't stupid they do what they do for a reason.
Early battleships are slow the Iowas are not they are called fast battleships for a reason.
