The Daniel Defense M4 Carbine V5 is the most perfected M4 variant for Tacticool fans. Equipped with a 12.0 Rail for attaching almost any kind of scopes and sights, and a 16" barrel providing higher firing range compared to the other M4 versions. Technically, this rifle is a hybrid between the M4 carbine and the M16 AR. In my opinion, so it should be suitable for both; assaulter and recon classes, leaning a little bit to the assaulter given the extended length.
Originally I've equipped this carbine with a red dot sight, but after some "negotiations" with Kuba we ended up using the Leupold Mark 4 HAMR 4x24mm. Meshes for the RD version are still in the game as "wpn_ddm4v5_rd_hud.ogf, wpn_ddm4v5_rd.ogf", all you need to do is to edit the w_m4a1.ltx, turn off the permanent scope for 'wpn_ddm4' and remove 'zoom_factor' option. The gun is aligned already.

I just love the Leupold Hamr. Beautiful scope that suits the gun nicely.
Also I have a question regarding red dots. Most of the time we see the old Walther red dot (or that Barska good for nothing lookalike). Can we expect other types like Eotech, Aimpoint, C-More or even the "tiny" trijicon RMR or Docter sights to be used on some models?

The magwell grip would have made more sense on a Mk 18. The Daniel Defense M4 Block II is so much longer that it ends up looking awkward and strange with the magwell grip.
Meh, it's no big deal tbh, after all, you won't see the actor uses it at all.
