Never again... Fell asleep twice during this :|
Some update on v2:
Finished remaking all the checkpoint images. The resolution got bumped up to 512x512, so it`s twice as high now.
The minimap and menu are mostly done and in the process of brute forcing any bugs that might occur during usage.
There has been also a small shift in the mod`s focus lately. I`m now trying to throw away any unnecessary additions to the mod, making it smaller and more friendly to implement into other mods. This is also the first step towards my attempt at making a small launcher that would allow launching the minimap along with ANY other mod out there.
Think of it like using 2 mods at the same time. Mind blown :)
Awesome work! I can't imagine making all of these images with the GIMP.
Also, I really hoped hat you manage to do more re-animations, since they are the most important thing for me.
Gimp is good until you get into the high, professional level stuff. Ideal for modding imo.
yeah, but the file save dialogues are out from hell, but i use it too.
what i never figured out, is, how to deleted total erased areas from alphachannel (lets say, use rubbergum with 100% effectiveness to delete it totally... export it to dds and it will be visible again in cryengine)
