You currently play as a rebel soldier, being held captive against his crimes in the Citadel. Freeman, meanwhile destroys the Citadel core, and you're set free whilst humanity is uprising against City 17. You need to traverse throughout the city with limited communications with other rebels to find your way to safety before the city is entirely eliminated.
