Raise the skills of your character to earn greater power in world of Midage! Better equipment and money! Explore the world of Midage and find where secrets are hidden.
This mod is a MMO. That means you're able to play with in the same world as many players. Featuring a login system and a connection to a database you can keep your character between all games.
MMO in Gmod?
Yes, it's possible! Servers have a max of 32 players (I think?) but if you link multiple servers together you can have a huge world. Featuring an intelligent redirection system that automatically redirects you to a server that is running the map where you character is.

Woodcutting - Your skill at cutting trees - Description
Mining - Your skill at mining ores - Description
Smithing - Your skill at making stuff out of ore - Description
Survival - Your skill at surving the wilds
Engineering - Your skill at making machines and mechanical stuff
Animals - Your skill at knowing animal stuff. (Will permit you to tame pets and do other stuff)

If you haven't noticed yet, me (JPiolho) and Mazur started JPMaz Studios, our own dev. company. (It's not official yet but it's on the way).
While we were picking up projects, "Midage : Gmod" was one of them. However, it will have to wait, we're making a couple projects before picking this up again. But well, good news huh? :)
We already have some plans up and I can't reveal much except that what you've seen here is nothing compared to what we have planned ;)

Okay, ive seen other GMOD- game modes like this and they were boring, souly because all you did was sit around and improve your skills and there was nothing to kill. Add randomly spawning monsters that are always in a place so you can actually do something, then i suggest random events like monster attacks, or enivroment events like tornado's etc. Just to make it more interesting
Monsters and that stuff is already planned. Thanks for the idea of environment :)

This would be cool if you added unique monsters or enemies and have skills so you can get better at Blades, Blunts, or Bows.
