This mod is a MMO. That means you're able to play with in the same world as many players. Featuring a login system and a connection to a database you can keep your character between all games.
MMO in Gmod?
Yes, it's possible! Servers have a max of 32 players (I think?) but if you link multiple servers together you can have a huge world. Featuring an intelligent redirection system that automatically redirects you to a server that is running the map where you character is.

Woodcutting - Your skill at cutting trees - Description
Mining - Your skill at mining ores - Description
Smithing - Your skill at making stuff out of ore - Description
Survival - Your skill at surving the wilds
Engineering - Your skill at making machines and mechanical stuff
Animals - Your skill at knowing animal stuff. (Will permit you to tame pets and do other stuff)

If you haven't noticed yet, me (JPiolho) and Mazur started JPMaz Studios, our own dev. company. (It's not official yet but it's on the way).
While we were picking up projects, "Midage : Gmod" was one of them. However, it will have to wait, we're making a couple projects before picking this up again. But well, good news huh? :)
We already have some plans up and I can't reveal much except that what you've seen here is nothing compared to what we have planned ;)

The new database server is done. Expect some news in a week or 2. :)
What does the database server allows?
--
* You can host servers for Midage : Gmod.
* Guarantees LUA code is unchangeable.
* Detects & Ban cheaters just like VAC does but with our game criteria (cutting trees too fast, got too many xp etc...)
* Allows us to keep track of the game (How many servers, accounts...).
* Provides better logs to our Game Masters (Admins / Moderators)
* And a lot more :D

We can't assure there will be a Single Player, if we get the right tools we're looking for there might be.
Nope, but on the servers you can play alone if you want to. Playing in group isn't a requirement.
